Citrus Saturday has been created by UCL Advances to teach young people all around the world about business and entrepreneurship. Their toolkits and workshops equip young people with the skills to start their own business and make a future for themselves. Participants create a lemonade product, brand it and sell it to the public, then keep the profits from their work. We are supporting their program in Swaziland, so hope to update you with photos of the project there later in the year. It is a fantastic initiative which is still looking for donations – but only until midnight on 27th December.
“The best Christmas present you could give a young person in Africa is the education and experience needed to make a living after they leave school.” This is Proper Oils Christmas Charity for 2014.
UCL has spent the last 6 months teaching me, the MD of Proper Oils, how to improve Proper Oils business and the services we offer to our customers. It has been a big journey and I’m really pleased to give something back by supporting other entrepreneurs, and this initiative in particular.
