Here’s a good look at the new livery designs for our cooking oil collection and delivery trucks. Our customers can certainly see them coming now!
As previously blogged, our fleet consists of three custom-made Mitsubishi Fuso Canters from Rygor Heathrow. We turned to our design studio CEMYK to brand them up. We’re extremely happy with the new look created by the team there, who nailed our brief – create something incredibly eye-catching.
Matt Richards, director of CEMYK said;
“We’re proud to have provided Proper Oils with design and marketing input for many years, watching the business grow since the early stages. Now we’re excited to be guiding them through this new brand evolution. The trucks are the first time we can apply the bold graphic style and direction to something so tangible, not to mention large. We wanted to create a visually disruptive solution to ensure the vehicles got noticed on their rounds. It’s fantastic that we now have Proper Oils looking so professional out on the roads, especially in their 10th anniversary year. Great achievements, and here’s to many more.”
It’s a wrap
CEMYK liaised with top vehicle wrapping specialists Media Fleet to complete the trucks. Media Fleet account manager Jack Riley said;
“Mediafleet were very pleased to work on this project, involving quite complex wraps with outstanding design created by CEMYK. We wanted to ensure this design was complimented by high quality wraps which we produced in a Digital Printed film and fitted at our facility in Witney, Oxfordshire. We were delighted with the result, which will undoubtably create a great deal of interest on the roads and we believe help establish the Proper Oils branding awareness in the market.”
It’s important for our business to look smart and professional as oil theft is a growing problem for the catering industry. Now, with the new livery and fleet, our customers can easily recognise the Proper Oils trucks and drivers, and know that their oil is being collected legally and professionally.
Custom built for the job
From a functioning perspective these new Canter trucks have enabled us to increase efficiency within our cooking oil delivery and waste oil collection service, by adding more ‘drops’ to each route. They are superbly manoeuvrable and very easy to drive.
Their purpose-designed box bodies, are by TLC Auto-Refinishing, of Feltham. Designed around our specialist business needs, they feature roller shutter doors on the nearside as well as the rear, perforated false floors with bunded areas beneath to capture spilt oil, 1,000 kg DEL column tail-lifts and storage under the vehicles for the delivery trollies so the wheels stay clean of oil.
Rygor salesman Gavin Duffy said;
“Rygor’s commitment to setting standards meant we were able to provide Proper Oils with vehicles which are perfectly tailored to their unusual role, and which complement the operator’s ethical, sustainable ethos. Stephen and his team run a great business and we wish them all the best as they prepare to mark their 10th anniversary.”
