Proper Oils presented to a group of +30 final year Management Studies degree students on Wednesday, studying at St Mary’s University College.
The students, who are all about 21/22 years old, are final year undergraduates completing a BA degree in Management Studies. Proper Oils is their real life business example for their Management Consultancy Project, which is one of the last modules they do before graduation. We’re the subject for them to apply all of their management and business savvy on a genuine business problem. . The students were a good audience, who were enthusiastic, listened well, and asked some good, challenging questions
Lise Georgeson, Senior Lecturer at the School of Management & Social Studies said “Being able to work with Proper Oils is excellent, not just because it’s a real project which is also interesting and challenging, but because of the nature of the work in the field of sustainability”
Stephen Hurton, Managing Director of Proper Oils said
“We collect used cooking oil from lots of Universities and Colleges, including St Mary’s. It’s great to be able to give something back, and be the subject for St Mary’s University College students project. The students were enthusiastic and bright, so we are looking forward to the results of their efforts in a couple of month’s time.”
