Several resident communities in the borough of Wandsworth are now taking advantage of our convenient service that enables householders to simply and easily collect and recycle their used cooking oils (UCOs), and fats.
Resident Management Organisations (RMO), also known as Tenant Management Organisations (TMO) are attracted to service, Unblocking the Community, as not only is the service free of charge, it is easily retro-fitted to existing estate recycling facilities and helps to drive down costs associated with blocked drains resulting from fats, oils, and greases (FOG), being disposed of inappropriately.
Here, Proper Oils project manager, Nick, celebrates the arrival of the new metal encasement for the cooking oil collection vessel at Wimbledon Park Housing Cooperative. All the collected FOG will be processed in to Bio Fuel that can be re-used.
Chay Pulger, Wimbledon Park Co-operative Management Team manager expands;
“I believe this is a brilliant initiative that benefits everyone at various levels. I am delighted to be part of such an important yet unique concept.”
We look forward to helping Chay and all the other Wandsworth RMO/TMOs in the struggle to prevent FOGs and UCOs blocking their drains in future. Enough with the acronyms now!!
